SOLD OUT -  Thanks to the over 150 riders for making our 1st ride amazing!

We decided that our first ride should be a mellow one in Downtown LA because, well,  that's the origin of LA. Everything grew out from here.  Trains brought visitors and new residents who scattered throughout the city to make a new start at life.  The first buildings and neighborhoods expanded from the LA River, a beautiful waterway, just outside of Downtown.  Things have changed 100 fold since then, but we'll try to take you back to that time.

The ride gathers at Artisan House in Downtown LA (600 S. Main St.) at 3pm for some registration-mingle-beer thirty business before we pedal off to start the ride.  We’ll make a handful of cool stops and hear some stories about old Downtown LA as it was building its way into the history books.  We’ll end the ride at Villains Tavern (1356 Palmetto) around 6:30pm for some music, beers and fun.  All rides are 21yrs. or older.

Skill Level:  Any

Length of Ride: Less than 10 miles

Parking: If you need to drive to the ride, there are 3 public pay-parking concrete lots on the corner of Main St. and 6th St. directly adjacent to Artisan House, our starting location.  Parking shouldn't be a problem here.

What to Bring:  Bike in good working order, your id, lock, lights, and water.

Gotta send some love out to Artisan House and Villains Tavern for opening their space to our group for the Downtown ride.  And to New Belgium for picking up the tab on our beers. You are awesome!

Our goal is to link up local bike friendly businesses and help to promote what they do. These folks are very supportive of our efforts- LA Rail, Stronghold Climbing Gym, Two Bit Circus,
